Accommodation in AMESA-managed hostels

Congress accommodation (bed and breakfast) will be available in the hostels managed by AMESA for all participants who book by 31 May.
Bookings will be made on a first-come first-served basis.
We cannot guarantee that hostel accommodation will be available if you register after 31 May. For all bookings made after 31 May, participants should make their own accommodation arrangements.

The costs for accommodation in a hostel is R350/person/night, including breakfast.

On sharing: The rate for single and shared accommodation is the same.
If you prefer to share a room with a friend or a colleague, you must on the Registration Form provide the name of your roommate to enable us to arrange it.

No dinner is provided for participants staying in hostels. (Note that the evening functions on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday provide dinners.) Also note that there is a convenient shopping center off campus.

Transport: Transport will be provided for participants who will be residing in hostels.

Please note:
- Bedding is provided but please bring an extra blanket for a more comfortable stay. NO blankets are provided. You should BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING
- Bring your own towel and toiletries.
- Breakfast will be served from 06:30 to 08:00.
- Rooms are not serviced for security reasons and participants have to clean their own rooms and make their own beds.
- No smoking and no alcohol is allowed in the rooms.
- There is a communal bath/shower (i.e. rooms do not have their own bathroom).
- Males and females will be housed in different hostels.
- Booking in time is 14:00 and booking out time is 10:00.
