Registration and accommodation

Registration:
Participants will be registered for the AMESA Congress 2017 on receipt of a completed registration form and payment of all costs associated with the Congress.

Registration fees include admission to all sessions, a copy of the various volumes of Proceedings of the Congress, the Proceedings CD_RM, the Congress Programme, the Congress satchel, morning and afternoon teas as well as lunch from Monday to Friday, and the welcome dinner on Monday evening.

Early Registration: Participants whose forms and payment reach the Congress Secretary by 30 April will pay a reduced early registration fee of R1000.
Normal Registration: Participants whose forms and payment reach the Congress Secretary from 1 May to 31 May, both dates included, will pay the normal registration fee of R1250.
Late Registration: Participants whose forms and payment reach the Congress Secretary after 31 May will pay an increased late registration fee of R1400.

AMESA membership: It is AMESA policy that all participants must be current paid-up AMESA individual or institutional members.
Participants who already are members must produce proof of membership (their membership number) when registering.
Participants who are not paid-up members must complete the AMESA membership renewal/application form and pay the appropriate membership subscription when registering.

Note: The definition of "register" is that your membership must be paid, your Registration Form submitted and full payment received.
Your registration is not complete until we receive your full payment! You will not be registered, and none of your bookings for accommodation, evening functions, excursion, memorabilia, etc. will be made until full payment is received.
Groups that are sponsored by an organisation (e.g. an Education Department) will only be allowed to register without full pre-payment if they follow the correct procedure to obtain a quotation and invoice and if the organisation issues an order number for the full amount.
